Love Letters to Home is a deeply personal EP by Angelique Sido, conceived in 2021 and meticulously crafted through its completion in 2024. This body of work serves as a capsule for her heart, dedicated entirely to those she cherishes most. Among the tracks is “The Mom Anthologies,” written in reverence of the women she admires as they embrace and navigate the journey of motherhood. Her husband, Daniel, is the muse behind two tracks—”Daniel, It’s You” and “I Like, I Love You, I Truly Do”—where she channels her deep devotion through a lighthearted and whimsical lens. The track “Favorite Faces, Favorite Places” was inspired by their daughter. It speaks directly to Angelique’s heart as a mom, reflecting her belief that despite having been able to travel to so many beautiful places around the world, still, the best place to be is always wherever her favorite person is. The EP reaches its emotional resolution with “Mae’s Melody,” a track that reflects on the challenges of fostering deep connections in adulthood, and the beautiful rarity of finding a soul sister who defies those odds.
