About this EP
Written in 2025 by Angelique Sido, Eagles, Soar! is a collaborative EP recorded and performed alongside her former ASTROPAUSE bandmates: Noah Goodfellow, Steven Ha, Kyle Panganiban, and Giovanni De Luca. Born out of a spirit of community, this project was envisioned as the definitive musical jingle for Elon Park Elementary’s “Soaring to Excellence” capital campaign.
The four-track EP features two vocal songs and two corresponding instrumentals, born from a deeply thoughtful creative process. While Angelique originally penned “Eagles Soaring High” as the main jingle, she realized its high-energy, upbeat tempo might feel overwhelming for neurodivergent students and those in the EC (Exceptional Children) classrooms. Guided by a desire for inclusivity, she went back to the drawing board to craft a calmer, acoustic alternative—the beautifully serene title track, “Soaring to Excellence.”
